The Yonex String Tour embarks on New York City for the Launch of the VCORE PRO

NEW YORK – The Yonex String Tour in North America made its 7th stop in the US and celebrated the launch of the new VCORE PRO racquet at the 96th Street Clay Tennis Courts in New York City.

Members from the Yonex Stringing Team strung more than 100 racquets for attendees, who also were some of the first people in the world to try out the new VCORE PRO racquet.

Olympic Gold Medalist Belinda Bencic, Casper Ruud, and Donna Vekic stopped by to speak about the importance of string and how they adjust their tension depending on weather and altitude.

“It’s very professional of you all to get your racquet strung,” said Bencic to the crowd. “Not many people understand the importance of string, but it’s equally as important as your racquet.”
