Roland Garros: Martina Hingis and Leander Paes Capture Career Grand Slam in Mixed Doubles

June 3rd saw the battle for the Roland Garros mixed doubles title unfold on Philipe-Chatrier court, with Martina Hingis (EZONE DR 100, POLYTOUR PRO 125, POWER CUSHION ECLIPSION L) and Leander Paes (POWER CUSHION ECLIPSION) facing off against Sania Mirza and Ivan Dodig.



The dynamic duo won three major titles together last year, and that same impeccable form was in full display on the distinctive red courts in the French capital. The Swiss-Indian pair proved once again that they their game is built on experience, coming back from a set down to effectively secure a come-back victory, 4-6, 6-4, 10-8.

The team has now completed a career Grand Slam, winning Roland Garros for the first time together after winning the Australian Open, Wimbledon and US Open in 2015.

Junior Pair Downs No. 1 Seeds


In girls’ doubles Olga Danilovic (EZONE DR 100, POLYTOUR PRO 125/POLYTOUR SPIN) and Paula Arias Manjon came back from a set down to triumph over No. 1 seeds Olesya Pervushina and Anastasia Potapova. The duo scored 2 aces and 3 break points en route to their 3-6, 6-3, 10-8 win.
