Rakuten Japan Open 2016: Nick Roars into Round 2

Nick Kyrgios (EZONE DR 98, POLYTOUR PRO 120) super-served his way through the first round of the Rakuten Japan Open, recording a straight 7-5, 6-2 win over American Ryan Harrison with the new blue EZONE DR.

EZONE DR Dominates

According to Nick, “my most powerful shot is my serve,” and it was indeed the Aussie’s serve that won the day. He landed 14 blazing aces, and boasted second serve speeds of over 200km/h. Taking full advantage of the EZONE DR’s potent power, Nick plowed through everything his American opponent threw at him. The hard-hitting ATP #NextGen star broke Harrison three times, while refusing his opponent any chance to do the same. The match closed with a sizzling 194km/h strike by way of the EZONE DR.

The local fans were out in full force to cheer on Nick, rooting for the Aussie holding blue Yonex towels to match the new EZONE DR.
