In women’s doubles, Zheng Jie (EZONE Ai 98, POLYTOUR SPIN) and her partner Chan Yung-Jan also reached the finals. The two have been a force of nature this tournament, refusing to drop a single game across all of their matches, and continued to exhibit their impeccable form in their semifinal match against Michaella Krajicek and Barbora Zahlavova. Committing only half the amount of errors of their opponents, along with landing 25 winners, the pair conquered in straight sets with a 6-3, 6-2 scoreline. They now have their sights sets on the final against Bethanie Mattek-Sands and Lucie Safarova.
Mixed doubles saw Martina Hingis (EZONE Ai 100, POLYTOUR PRO 125, SHT-PRO) make it into the semifinals with Leander Paes, winning in straight sets against Andrea Hlavackova (RQiS 2 Tour, POLYTOUR PRO 125), 6-3, 6-1. Martina once again exhibited her many years of doubles experience with a spectacular performance.
