Ana Ivanovic Beats Simona Halep in WTA Finals

Once again Ana Ivanovic (EZONE Ai 98) won at the WTA Finals in Singapore, this time against world No. 4 Simona Halep. Ana demonstrated an aggressive performance at the prestigious tournament in a heated match against the Romanian. Despite being lead early on, Ana came back strong to even the first set, and eventually took it for her own. The match stretched into a third set, which Ana also managed to take, closing the match with a final score of 7-6 (7), 3-6, 6-3.

While Ana was unfortunately unable to make it into the semifinals, her appearance at the Finals and her strong match-wins at the tournament are further additions to this amazing season for the 26-year-old Serbian player.

In women’s doubles, Su-Wei Hsieh (RDS0002 Tour) placed as a finalist along with her partner in the women’s doubles competition. Su-Wei and her partner made it all the way to the finals without dropping a single set.
