2021 Luxembourg Open: Teenaged Tauson wins title No. 2

KOCKELSCHEUER, Luxembourg – 18-year-old Clara Tauson (DEN) defeated defending champion [3] Jelena Ostapenko to win the BGL BNP Paribas Luxembourg Open.

Enjoying the fast-paced indoor courts in Luxembourg, Tauson fired 31 winners and 8 aces, while committing just six errors in the final.

It was Tauson’s second career title, after winning another WTA 250 event in March earlier this year. The rising star will move to a career-high ranking of 52.
