LAUSANNE, Switzerland – 2021 Roland-Garros semifinalist Tamara Zidansek (SLO) continued her stellar play on the red clay in 2021.
Zidansek came back from a set and a break down in the finals of the Ladies Open Lausanne to win her first-career WTA title, 4-6, 7-6, 6-1 over Clara Burel. It was Zidansek’s third three-set victory this week.
Zidansek will break into the top-40 for the first time in her career, moving to World No. 37 after her title run.
