2017 Wimbledon: Day 1 Match Results

The 131st edition of the Wimbledon Championships main draw got underway on July 3rd. Team Yonex’s newest member, Victoria Azarenka came back from a set down to claim her first Grand Slam match of her comeback. VCORE SV players Steve Johnson and Caroline Garcia cruised into round 2 with straight sets victories, while EZONE players Naomi Osaka and Anastasija Sevastova saw off their first round opponents in convincing fashion. Unfortunately on the men’s side, both playing through injuries, Nick Kyrgios was forced to retire while Stan Wawrinka lost in 4 sets.
