TOKYO, Japan – Yonex Co., Ltd. is proud to announce the launch of “EZONE CB901 Forged Iron”, a new forged iron series made in Japan and designed for mid-high handicap golfers. This new forging offers more distance and is more forgiving than the existing EZONE graphite hybrid forged iron models. It will be available from late February 2024.
Graphite (G-BRID) is built into the back of the face to achieve a thinner face and a lower center of gravity. The low center of gravity provides a high launch angle and a soft feel that suppresses vibration, while adding distance to the ball.
Moreover, the new clubs deliver the largest moment of inertia in the company’s Forged Iron series. This is achieved thanks to a larger head size with weight distributed in the heel and toe. The high forgiveness and resistance to miss-hits allow the player to target the green with greater accuracy.

The EZONE CB901 Forged Iron integrates lightweight and highly resilient graphite into the back of the face to achieve a lower center of gravity, paired with a thinner face. The high launch angle resulting from a low center of gravity, and the excellent rebound performance increase distance. Thanks to this, the 8 iron can hit the same distance as a conventional 7 iron.
