The Yonex i-EZONE Driver and Fairway Wood Type Ti both earned impressive, silver medal distinctions on Golf Digest’s “HOT LIST JAPAN 2013.” Golf Digest—an American magazine—has published HOT LISTS every year since 2004, rating the best golf equipment manufactured all over the world. In order to compile the list for the HOT LIST JAPAN 2013 awards, amateur players tested golf clubs sold in Japan, while a third-party institution measured, graded, and ranked their performances.
In its review, the i-EZONE Driver is said to generate a straighter shot with a high trajectory even if it was hit off-center. One tester said the driver always provides an “accurate drive when I hit a tee-shot.” Testers of the i-EZONE Fairway Wood Type Ti were impressed with the way this club makes it possible to launch the ball easily with a solid impact. One tester explained, “I was surprised that I could hit a high trajectory shot effortlessly.” Testers were even pleased with the look of the EZONE clubs, pointing out the EZONE’s distinctive, two-tone head color.
The EZONE TOUR Wedge—exclusive to the Japanese market—received the silver medal in the wedge category.
