Optimized Spin Performance the New “EZONE MB301” Forged Iron

TOKYO, Japan – Yonex is proud to announce a new addition to the forged iron series manufactured in Japan the “EZONE MB301 Forged Iron”, This new forging offers the greatest spin performance in the company’s history of forged irons and is loved by top level golfers. The EZONE MB301 Forged Iron will be available from late February 2023.

With high spin performance made possible by our very own precision forged face, this Muscleback Iron is less susceptible to on course conditions ensuring high control and flight stability.

The ”MICRO CONVEX FORGED FACE” incorporates thin, precision forged, convex grooves in between the traditional grooves, creating improved spin performance. Both flight distance and spin control remain consistent in dry or wet conditions, and stable high spin shots are possible even from the rough in the rain.

Crafted into the iron head is Yonex’s original “G-BRID”, a uniquely combined graphitedamping material reducing unwanted vibrations and optimizing the center of gravity for an ultra-soft feel.

Created by our very own technology, the precision forged convex grooves, thinner than 25μ ｍ (0.025mm) drawn between the traditional grooves on the face drives a surprising spin performance. Both flight distance and spin control remain consistent whether in dry or wet conditions, and stable high spin shots are possible from the rough even in the rain.
