Hyo-Joo Kim Triumphs at First Tournament on the 2017 LPGA of Korea Tour

On Sunday December 18th, Hyo-Joo Kim won the Hyundai China Ladies Open, the opening tournament on the LPGA of Korea Tour. She boasted her characteristically accurate shooting, leading for the opening 2 days. Despite falling behind on the final day, she would pick up three birdies on the back nine, making a comeback to win with a final score of 6-under-210.

Playing mainly on the LPGA tour, this marks Hyo-Joo’s first title since winning at the Pure Silk Bahamas LPGA Classic in February. Harnessing the power of the N1-CB forged iron, she picked up birdie after birdie with pin-point hits towards the flags.

“I was getting very good shots on both my driver and irons. My clubs let me hit the ball steadily, I am always very happy with them. With these clubs by my side, I look forward to picking up my next title of the season,” spoke Hyo-Joo post-tournament.

Keep your eyes out for great achievements from Hyo-Joo and the Yonex clubs that back her up.
