Yonex to Continue its Role as Official Supplier for BWF World Superseries Finals

A press conference and signing ceremony were held at the 2016 YONEX All England Open Badminton Championships on March 11th announcing Yonex’s renewed agreement with the BWF World Superseries Finals to act as the tournament’s official supplier.

Yonex will be providing equipment and stringing service at the prestigious tournament for multiple years, supporting the world’s top class athletes as they vie for the sought-after title. Japanese rising star Kento Momota won last year’s men’s singles title, with Mohammad Ahsan and Hendra Setiawan earning the men’s doubles crown along with Chris and Gabrielle Adcock winning the mixed doubles title—a first for England.

Yonex president Kusaki Hayashida and executive managing director Shuichi Yoneyama were in attendance along with BWF World Superseries Finals representative Sir Hugh Robertson. Sir Hugh is the executive director of Falcon and Associates, which hosts the Superseries Finals. Along with the running the tournament, Falcon also works hand-in-hand with Dubai to establish its strong presence on the global stage.

Yonex will also be providing support for Dubai’s Shuttle Time program, allowing children the opportunity to play badminton.
