Viktor won the 2010 BWF World Junior Championships, making him the first European player to win in boys’ singles. At the Thomas Cup in May of this year, he carried out a close match with contemporary player Kento Momota in men’s singles. Additionally, in last week’s Indonesian Open (Superseries Premier) he defeated Indonesia’s top player, Tommy Sugiarto (World No.5) in the first round in full sets (21-18 13-21 21-12). It goes without saying that his performance has sparked the interest of audiences around the world.
“I am happy to be back with the YONEX family. I feel comfortable and safe with YONEX, and am very pleased with the equipment,” commented Viktor, expressing his satisfaction with both YONEX’s products and support. With this new contract, Viktor will make his leap to the world stage with YONEX backing him.
YONEX is incredibly happy to support young, promising players with our products, and to watch them compete globally. We take pride in devoting our full efforts to encouraging players by providing them with fine products and a good environment in which to flourish.
