Men's Doubles category witnessed an incredible performance by, Lee Yang and Wang Chi Lin (TPE) who is using the brand new NANOFLARE 1000. Their synchronicity and flawless teamwork were on full display as they outplayed Takuro Hoki and Yugo Kobayashi (JPN) and secured the championship. This win marks the first major victory for the pair since the World Stage in 2021, remarkably back in Japan, where the pair found their groove again. Final score 21-19, 21-13.
The Women's Singles category was no less thrilling, as An Se Young (KOR) exhibited exceptional skill and tenacity against He Bing Jiao (CHN). An Se Young’s lightning-fast reflexes and relentless aggression earned her a well-deserved victory, marking her 7th World Tour title this year. Final score 21-15, 21-11.
The Mixed Doubles category witnessed an intense showdown between Arisa Higashino and Yuta Watanabe (JPN) and Sapsiree Taerattanachai and Dechapol Puavaranukroh (THA) once again. In a close final, Higashino and Watanabe emerged victorious with their first ever home ground win, making their home crowd proud. Final score 17-21, 21-16, 21-15.
In the Men's Singles category, Viktor Axelsen (DEN), the reigning world champion, demonstrated his prowess on the court, claiming the title in an awe-inspiring final. Axelsen’s impeccable footwork, powerful smashes, and strategic play left his opponent in awe, solidifying his reputation as one of the best badminton players of this generation. Final score 21-7, 21-18.
