Career
History flowed from Linda Noskova’s Yonex racquet at the 2024 Australian Open where she became the first teenager this century to defeat the World No. 1 at the Australian Open (as well as the first teen to do so at any of the Grand Slams for 15 years). Playing in the main draw at Melbourne Park for the first time, the 19-year-old Czech announced her talent by beating the top-ranked player in the third round, and then went on to reach her first major quarter-final. One of Noskova’s rewards was to break into the Top 30 in the WTA Rankings. A head-to-toe Yonex ambassador, Noskova was a Grand Slam champion during her junior career, taking the Girls’ Singles title at Roland-Garros in 2021.
